Built an AI-driven integrated energy & carbon management platform for a large manufacturing enterprise, covering four major modules: organizational carbon management, product carbon footprint, refined energy management, and AI smart energy-saving control.
Challenge
The enterprise has scattered factories and numerous energy-consuming devices, with energy and carbon data relying on manual statistics, which are lagging and inaccurate; export products face CBAM carbon footprint disclosure requirements, but lack LCA accounting capabilities; energy management remains at the total volume level, unable to locate waste links; systems like air compressors and HVAC run roughly, with large energy-saving potential but lacking optimization tools.
Solution
Deployed an integrated energy & carbon platform to collect energy consumption and emission data across the entire factory via IoT, automatically completing organizational carbon accounting and target management; built-in LCA model to achieve one-click product carbon footprint accounting and report generation; refined energy analysis at the workshop, process, and equipment levels; AI algorithms optimize and control systems like air compressors and HVAC in real-time.
Result
Automatic data collection rate reached 95%, carbon accounting efficiency improved by 85%, and product carbon footprint report cycle was shortened to 3 days; energy consumption per unit of output value decreased by 15%, AI smart control saved over 4.8 million kWh of electricity annually (equivalent to reducing carbon by 3,400 tons), saving over 3.6 million RMB in electricity bills per year.
